    Default Firmware flash confusion

I am just in the process of upgrading the firmware of my phone. I have flashed it to C5.ABP with the CG33 mod. (cg33 swapped during first re- flash) The confusion is with applying the C36 mod. It says on a flashed phone re-apply the firmware and swap the cg36 file. Why won't that just re-flash the CG33 and cg35?? with the Motorola original mods and blow away the flashing I did earlier to get to CG33.

Can CG36 be applied to any phone or does it have dependencies?

Going through the forums I have managed to download 3 x CG36 smg files from different locations. Which one is the valid one as there are no dates in these files. Everything seems to be scattered everywhere.

    Default Re: Firmware flash confusion

I find it better to use flashkit after you have done a full flash. You can choose which ever cg you like I guess, some have things you want some have things you dont. Of course some cg require you install certain other cg or youll get problems like java apps running 3 times etc. Find out exactly what you want first and then go from there.
It's only a phone if you want it to be
