the backlight button doesnt flash

why the backlight keypad doesnt flash a blue light...???

just go to setup> power management > then uncheck battery save, enjoy your blue light.

that light sucks up a lot of power.. i always leave mine off...

Quite strange why it sucks up tons of power - because it's just one LED, and the blinking moto light is .....blinking!

I really wonder how it helps.

well, the d-pad blue light is actually 4 led's I think, when you look at it closely it seems to be 4 *shrugs* and as for the blinking led that's useful since it lets you know the status of your signal (signal/no signal/roaming) and whether you're wasting energy on bluetooth.

yep.. the blinking M light is more useful than the keypad light... i think the only time i use it is when i'm up in the dark mountain... need some extra light... lol and just to make my phone look cool...

(reminisce about my old day w/ my nokia 3395 w/ buncha fixed up lights that sucks up battery)
