there's no trick that I know of, and that CAN be normal depending on your usage. What do you normally use it for and for how long during a normal day?

if you feel like your battery life is poor, turn on battery save in the power management menu in setup. that might help a bit. and also keep your bluetooth off till you need it. bluetooth drains batteries. you can also lower your brightness level.
vxxx (ie. v300, v551, v600) batteries are the same as the e680i batteries so if you are looking for backup batteries, you can just look for vxxx batteries.
but be careful, v400 is too thick to close the lid![]()
give you more tips here
1. turnoff your gprs if you need not.
2. turn to dialing mode, and choose the left-down menu, choose 'setup', and then choose the 'network setup' , a menu will appear, then choose the left-down menu again, will has 'search setup', choose this, a new menu will be shown, at the 'speed ' type, you can choose 'slow'. So this choice will help you to save about 10% to 30% power depends on the distance between your phone and transmission station.
3. turn off your phone at mid-night
I agree with Tarwin. Buy more batteries!![]()
That's the only thing I can suggest that isn't too much of a hassle like turning off your antenna, gprs, etc...
Anyway, I use my phone quite heavily with games, music, calls, and even voice recording. I end up changing my battery at least once a day when I'm using it that much. The batteries are relatively cheap and I personally think it's well worth the investment. I would recommend cycling three batteries and buying a separate charging unit. I think Tarwin and I bought the same charger on E-bay. I can't say I would recommend that charger because it's a quick charger and doesn't fully charge. But, it does allows me to keep using the phone all day so I think it's worth getting a charger.... I guess look around for one that fully charges!
yeah, until I get a new charger what I do is I charge the dead batteries in that charger and when they're "done" I top them off in the phone if I have the time.
If I'm correct, you get two batteries with the pack: I got two with the phone's casing (first hand, if it helps a bit). Never used the other battery, but thinking of charging it someday...
I won it - didn't get the phone. Maybe that's the reason - but - it was packed when I got it.
turn off your backlight button............
shaheer, some places sell it with one battery and some with two
now I don't know if that's how they got them or if they keep the extra battery to sell it on the side
