PLEASE PLEASE, HELP A DUMMY

Im sorry for posting this stupid stupid question like this but im jsut about to give up hope on the e680i. I bought this fone second hand about a year ago and since day 1 iv been trying to get the most out of it. Iv got loads of java games but no apps. I discovered this site only recently and i have been trying to download some apps & games but the only format that seems to work on my fone is .jar. I came across linloader and i tried to install it but my fone wont reconise the format. I think when linloader is installed most apps will work rite?. When i bought the fone i didnt get any software and when i tried to connect my fone to the computer through modem mode it wont let me. I can connect using usb mode but i think the reason why i cant load linloader is cause its not through modem mode. I know it says that you have to delete everything and reboot your fone but if i do this will my fone reconise linloader. Im sorry for such a handicap questions but even when i read the dummies guide to install linloader i still cant do it. Can some1 please please tell me how do i get linloader on my fone becuse it just wont reconise the format, what the f*** am i doing wrong. Do i need to install linloader to play gba games? I know its simple but to me its like maths, sorry again. Thanks

Since you've bought this phone about a year ago (meaning your warranty is finished already), I suggest doing this :

1. Really work hard on how to get the LinLoader installed in your SD/MMC/TF card.
2. Reflash your phone using the latest firmware and modified code groups (learn here on how to do it)

Once you've got the two things done, you will be able to install ANYTHING from here without any trouble.

By 'here', I meant 'this forum'. I think the sticky posts are more than enough resources to learn about reflashing.

cheers for the reply's, just 1 more qustion. when i bought the fone i never got cd's with it so iv been searchin for the software to use my fone as modem mode but i just cant find it. im wondering is the software simular to any other motorola models cause iv found a few models but not the e680
