Is it possible to use VLC?

I mean VLC works on the Zaurus, so what about our E680i?

VLC runs perfectly on my Mac. It's a small yet powerful program. And it's open source. I hope we can port it to our EZX phones.

It has been ported to Sharp Zaurus.

yes, only a few steps to port to ezx. I downloaded source code some time ago, but had not much time to play with it

I have compiled it about six month ago but seg. fault raised when run it for first time trial. Need a lot of library (ffmpeg, mad, ogg, faac, SDL, etc) and have no UI. Have no time to port this big app so far.

Instead of porting VLC to EZX, is it possible, Blackhawk, to add more libraries/codecs to your OZXPlayer, for example, AVI Divx, MPG, and DAT (video-cd)???

Btw, guys ... this app (OZXPlayer by Blackhawk) rocks ... it's an audio as well as video player ... see dev section for details ...
