edit code group

I try to edit code group but when I type
mkcramfs /chroot/mnt/mod /newcg35.smg

it say
bash:mkcramfs command not found
I don't know why

which distro u r using? are u sure that cramfs tools are installed? on some distros u may need to do mkfs.cramfs

thanks akhaliq Iam a newbie of linux so I don't know what is distro and how to install cramfs tools where to down load it .
i have just install fedora core5 and can't use the comman mkcramfs but I use my friend PC install fedora core3 it work well
can you tell me how to install cramfs tools thanks
