anybody know the format of this 'video ringtone' file that used on nokia phones ?
alcatel phones support video ringtones, maybe we can make e680i do this by default by editing something :P
hmm.. video-ringtomes are just kiddy-stuff and also takes longer to pick up the call as it does now with a normal sound ringtone...
call comming in -> wait -> vdieo-player(realplayer) have to start up -> wait -> the "anwering call" button have to show "wait" speak... maybe it wil take 7 - 15 seconds that we can talk with the other person on the phone -too long!

Y-cyas, is that only your assumption, or is it really what you see happens on Nokia phones? Kinda stupid indeed if it is what really happens.
With normal ringtone, it doesn't need realplayer, right? Maybe non-GUI videoplayer (eplayer or cmplayer) can do the trick???
I agree that video-ringtone is only about fashion, but it would be cool indeed to have it on our phone.

...even with a non-GUI video-player...
i think, first make the phone faster to pick up the phone when a call comming in rather this would be better... on my e680 takes up to 4 sec when i pushed the call button until i can speak to the person on the phone -with video-ringtones it will go longer, also needs more battery power.
3 calls with video-ringer = 50% of the battery power away!
nevermind what "bad" fashion are on the nokia phones...
but its about your guys -if you like it than try to make it.
