  1. Default cg33 unicode version 2.0

    Introducing ThreeSearch's cg33 unicode version 2.0:
    http://vllp.sourceforge.net

    Change log:

    1. Unicode:
Unicode font supports more than 20 languages, including international phonetic aphabet. Go to http://vllp.sourceforge.net/en/dictionary_download.htm to download English-English Explanation dictionary. Go to http://dictionarymid.sourceforge.net to download or setup other dictionaries.

    2. Editable .GainTable.txt and 6 vibrate files:
User can edit .GainTable.txt and/or 6 vibrate files in /diska/.system folder.

    3. Startup tone:
When the phone startup, it will play a sound file startup.wav or starup.mp3 in /diska/MyAudio folder.

    4. Starup scripts:
When the phone startup, it will execute all the shell scripts in /diska/.system/startup or /diska/.system/Startup folder. Refer to example shell script welcome.lin in /diska/.system/startup folder to see how to use write a startup shell script.

    5. Auto telnet:
When USB mode on the phone is set to modem and USB cable is plugged, the phone will execute file acmattach.txt in /diska folder to auto switch to telnet mode. User can disable auto switch to telnet mode by renaming the file acmattach.txt to acmattach.lin.

    6. Auto backup native database to memory card:
When USB mode on the phone is set to modem and USB cable is plugged, the phone will automatic backup all native database files in /ezxlocal/sysDatabase folder to /mmc/mmca1/.system/backup/sysDatabase folder. User can use RestoreDB utility to restore native database from memory card.

    7. Bash2 and other bin utilities:
When telnet to the phone, default bash will be set to bash2. User also can use other bin utilities such as nano, strace, snice...

    8. Pre-loaded NEO installer:
NEO installer was integrated in /usr/local/neo folder. NEO installer will auto startup when the phone is up. User no need to install NEO installer, no need to run NEO's startup.lin file whenever the phone is up.

    9. Pre-loaded ezxdialog and Leo's message:
ezxdialog was integrated in /diska/.system/bin folder. Leo's message was integrated in /user/local/leomsg folder. User can use ezxdialog or Leo's message to display custom messages in their shell scripts. Refer to example shell script welcome.lin in /diska/.system/startup folder to see how to use ezxdialog in a shell script.

    10. Latest Opera browser:
Opera browser was upgraded to latest version: 7.50 for EZX, build: 1320

    11. The phone can be switched to use font in system and diska location. User run InstallFont.mtf to install the font to diska, and use SwitchFont utility to switch the font between system and diska location.

If your language can not be displayed in the phone, you may find this function is very useful. To support a new language, what you need to do is just contact me and I will make a new unicode font for you. Then you download the new unicode font from my website, run InstallFont.mtf to install the font to diska and use it with SwitchFont utility.

Please note that the phone will hang if it is using font in diska and you connect it to PC in USB mass storage mode. To solve this problem, I implement SwitchFont utility. Before you connect the phone to PC in USB mass storage mode, run SwitchFont utility to switch the font back to system location.

@ITMASTER, I already fixed the issue armenian unicode mapping conflict with latin unicode mapping. Now your language is supported completely.

    --> yes

Make sure you download the latest ThreeSearch_Unicode_Font_2.0.zip (~5MB).

I am proud to announce: E680i supported all languages around the world: Arabic, Armenian, Cyrillic, Devanagari, Georgian, Greek, Gurmukhi, Hebrew, IPA, Chinese, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Latin, Tamil, Thai, Vietnamese. Korean and Indian users can display their languages on the phone, too!

Attached file is example unicode data to test cg33 unicode version 2.0. When you open this file in PC, some characters may not be displayed correctly because your PC may not have the font. However, if you open this file in the phone, all characters will be displayed perfectly.
