i already done the automatic web setting from maxis web site. they already send the setting... and it auto configure my phone. but still cant get it work

waaa.. i thought u already solve the probs here thakilla.. u didn't answer my Q yet.. did u do the update when u recieve the setting?

yes.. i tap at update. then when i see at profie..i got the maxis gprs profile. it succesfully update. but dunno why cant connect

well.. i cant see correctly the probs.. if only i can get my hand on ur phone, more be easier.. ur simcard is 64k version or what?

my phone work fine, the setting can be save, and by the default, my browser automaticly use the new setting i download. thakilla, in ur browser profiles setup, did u see the "Active: Maxis WAP GPRS" ? u can try requesting the CSD setting also..maybe it works for u

i am using dig, just call service number, and ask them semd me a GPRS setting.

well our e680 can't run the firmware ABP for e680i. so some clever guy/gal create a patch so that firmware ABP can be flash to a e680 hardware. so v1.5_CCRX is a patch.

so if u are following on another thread whereby ppl are jumping like crazy (me too) since there is a release of a new firmware AAP, but ppl with e680 hardware got to wait for some clever guy/gal to create a patch so that us (holding e680 hardware) can use the firmware.

Thanks for the info arzme. even i follow the forum, sometimes i got mixed up.. :P when start using e680 i felt like to learn back what had i left b4, just wondering is the montavista can be change to others like fbsd or something else
