    Default Changing Shortcuts step by step

    As I can remember ppl looking for changing shortcuts on the main screen set up...this is the how to:

    requirements : Textpad.zip http://www.textpad.com/download/index.html

    1-telnet to the phone

    2- login : root and type
    cp /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_idle.cfg /diska/ezx_idle.cfg

    3-exit telnet

    4- check your shortcuts files in USB mass storage (i.e web browse and real player)

    5- in mass storage open TextPad.exe on PC

    6-Open file ezx_idle.cfg

    7- Open and :
    [agent>
    GWIP = 0.0.0.0
    GWPort = 0
    MGURL = http://brwtest.vicp.net:8080/DpPrototype/4g/
    PROFILE = AIS GPRS
    [dynamic>
    animationSpeed = 0
    download = 0
    dynamicIdle = 0
    [static>
    nextEvent = 1
    shortcut_1 = 85
    shortcut_1_freeze = 0
    shortcut_2 = 71
    shortcut_2_freeze = 0
    shortcut_3 = 61
    shortcut_3_freeze = 0
    shortcut_4 = 69
    shortcut_4_freeze = 0
    shortcuts = 1

    8- Check both Shortcut_1 number name and shortcut_2 ( 85 and 71)

    9- Select your short cut in the list i.e Shortcut_1 77 (Setup) and Shortcut_2 105 (FM Radio) :

    10- and save as
    File format = UNIX
    Save as type = All Files [*.*>
    Encoding = ANSI

    11- Mass storage and telent again
    cp /diska/ezx_idle.cfg /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_idle.cfg

    12- Disconnect from telnet go to your shortcuts menus at the main screen
    13-check your new shortcuts and enjoy it!!!

    The easiest thing to do is used ezxeditor. Open ezx_idle.cfg directly and change any shortcut you want to change, no need to telnet.

    You need to edit /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_idle.cfg.
    Telnet in and copy (cp) it to some directory from where you can edit it (/diska or /mmc/mmca1). Inside will be something like this:
    nextEvent = 1
    shortcut_1_freeze = 0
    shortcut_1 = 606
    shortcut_2_freeze = 0
    shortcut_2 = 85
    shortcut_3_freeze = 0
    shortcut_3 = 71
    shortcut_4_freeze = 0
    shortcut_4 = 61
    shortcuts = 1
    Edit the shortcut_x = xx line to another number that corresponds to the app shortcut you want to have there (for the list look below). Then save it (remember to save as unicode text format when using wordpad!), remove (rm) the original ezx_idle.cfg and copy the edited one to /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup.
