switching SD cards

okay, so i'm upgrading to a 2Gb from 1Gb. I have lots of games/programs installed through the flash and I'm jus wondering if I need to reinstall all of them if i intend to switch SD cards. Are there an easier way?

Copy-paste - I'd say.

i dont think you can copy-paste programs already installed.

Copy-paste should work....it did for me...

But plz note...make sure you copy the hidden folder .system....this is where all the programs, games, etc and application records are stored...

yeah, copy pasting should work. I've cleared my SD card and then copied everything back and it kept on working (this is why I prefer to install programs on the SD card, less hassle )

i copy - paste, my sd with folder .system some games and applications work but games and applications with drm didn't work.

Strange,,,,,maybe next time you should install the DRM games in the phone memory.

You should be glad you can install DRM games, I can't for some unknown reason.

okay so i copy-pasted all the programs/games. most of the games work fine except a few won't start. the problem is, none of the games are saved. when i exit and re-enter a game, it starts off as if it's the first time i've played it. additionally, it does not save any high records and etc. plz help. I'm about to re-install all of em!!!
