    Default Error: Memory Full ???

    So I searched through the forums but I couldn't find anything on this topic, although I remember seeing something similar.

    I entered about 25 calendar entries, all annual with infinite repeat (b-dayz) and after that my phone started behaving strange.

    When I restarted, Bluetooth is turned on automatically. When I try to swith between vibrate, silint or ring loud...or any alert style I get an error "Memory Full" and it doesn't let me make the change.
    I've also noticed if I play a single MP3 through Real Player, I don't get that error message, but if I try to play a playlist I get that same "Memory Full".

    Task Manager shows Sys Memory status at 47% after restart, Memory Stus for the phone's memory is at 41% and my 1gig card has 94mb free.

    The workaround?...well I usually have to restart the phone and they maybe it works....I've noticed if I have Bluetooth on it works more often.

    It's really annoying and hard to operate the phone that way. Any suggestions or help? I'd greatly appreciate any replies...my fw is C3.A8P ...HK non-branded...it's the one that I bought it with.

    Its not your phone or sd/mmc memory that is full....but your system memory or ezxlocal memory..

    How to check if you have run out of ezx space
    1) Download the attached file (df.txt)
    2) Rename it to df.lin
    3) Copy it o your phone/sd/mmc memory
    4) Run it using linloader
    5) Check your phone memory for the results

    Adding calander events occupies ezx space...if you have any themes which are installed in the ezx memory, remove them...try to keep at least 20% of your ezxlocal free for operation...

    Also you should try using swap to increase the swap space...Search the forum for more details..

    i have same problem with "Memory Full"

    after installining(phone mem) and click on the df.lin, the freeezx.txt shows.

    Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/mtdblock2 5.2M 5.2M 0 100% /ezxlocal

    so i have it full with 5.2M (100%) ?

    how to make this mem free?

    i have no theme installed (just the org. moto e680 themes)

    Make a backup of your stuff....and then do a master clear and master reset....you probably have too many messages, contacts and calander events stores in your phone...

    Also, make use of swap////

    sandman, thank you for your input. I found a way to decrease the memory used. i noticed this happened after many new calendar entries and also custom folders packed with mms and sms....i was able to take care of it.

    i know i already have a post for this and it's really absolutely important that i find this firmware if possible, either E680i_G_0D.C3.A8P or E680i_G_0D.C5.A4P ...in fact i'm willing to offer a $ reward (via paypal) to whoever finds me the full .shx ...no joke, sorry to be posting like this but it's really important for me.

    can we just remove files in folder preload ? it contains files like MTV stuffs, maybe it could help giving more space for phone memory ?

    preload is in diska, not ezx, it will free up memory but not solve the aforementioned problem

    btw, what is a recommended amount of ezx% to be left free? anybody know?

    And is there anyway to make the phone save text messages (and mms) elsewhere?

    @tarwin
    Try to keep at least 20% of your ezxlocal free for operation, or if it is less, use the swap.

    @bluenectar
    Even though diska and ezxlocal are on the same memory chip, they have different mount-points and a specified amount of memory allcoated to them.
