Default Batteries on Ebay from HK @$2

    1) Does anyone know if the e680i batteries being sold on ebay for $2 are reliable?
    2) My new dead phone finally came to life, though just once (for about 3 minutes before I switched it off), and has been dead ever since, despite 2 overnight charges. Shouldn't new phones just start by holding the button down for 2 seconds? Is there anything I should do, other than try a new battery to replace this new battery in this new phone?
    3) My last option is to claim a refund by disputing the charge with Visa for a product that was delivered dead on arrival.

    Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

if the battery is empty, just charge it with the power adaptor and not with the usb cable, it should work again after 2hour charging. bush the power-button on the phone for 2-3sec long.

with the usb cable you only can charge the phone when it is on.

    Ubuntu 6.10 + 7.04,

I recharged from the mains socket and held the button for 3 seconds, it just lights up the screen and does nothing, no menu, then it switches off after 20 seconds or so. I don't know if the new battery is bad, or the whole new phone is bad. I bought it new on eBay as none of the shops in LA are selling this phone.

Any other ideas on what I could do?

will it turn on when connected to the power adaptor? Cause if it's connected it shouldn't matter if the battery lasts or not. If you press volume up+camera button+power button do you get a blue screen? (and does that one turn off quickly as well or does it last?) do you have any friends with a v300/v60/v600 or the such? You could ask them to lend you their battery to test the phone

    ok, i know this problem

when u buy it from ebay, is brand new, so there is no electricity in the battery,

    do this:

just plug it, then try to turn in on, it will seems to turn on and then turn off,
then just wait there, the light will turn red, thats mean that is charging....

just wait untill it fully charge and turn green, remember, the battery is brand new and there is no electricity inside, need to be charge at max before 1st time use...

    Hope it help u,
