either u flash again the firmware n not forgetting the cg33 (since u r doing reflashing don't forget cg36 too). doing this u will loss every setting u had done unless u did a backup.

or u can used flashkit to flash the cg33. all ur setting will not be affected. using flashkit can be tedious for the newbies though.

flashkit turned out to be quite easy actually, and a less scary prospect for me than PST

At first glance, flashkit seems to be complicated but if you read carefully & follow the step by step instruction, its much easier than using PST and you dont have to worry losing contacts and files.

the best way to flash fone is flash c5abp by PST without replace CG and than flash CG.. by flash kit

*very sad* am i the only person who love the pst way? here is my line of thought.... since we need pst to flash the 'new' firmware, dumping the 'patch' cg(ies) during firmware cuts the story short. no need to transfer the cg(ies) to the phone, no need to telnet, no need to tap this n dat, no need to worry that the command u wrote is wrong. and also u no need usblan to connect the phone to pst, the phone modem driver is enough.

of course this applies that there is a new firmware to flash.... heh heh heh.... if there is an updated cg(ies) only, then doing pst is redundance....

ohh i wish the cg35 can be flash by pst.... ohh i wish....

but that's the thing arzme. My phone hasn't had the full firmware flashed, just CG33 so far and 36 in the future. and I'm less likely to screw up the phone with flashkit than PST (or at least I hope so) and the procedure is relatively easy. Plus, flashing my firmware would be making things worse so no thank you

If you only need to update CG35 without telnet you can use qonsole. But if its CG33 or CG36, the choice is either PST or flashkit.
