the phone doesn't show up or PST doesn't show up? (and why would PST show up in the devices list if it's a prog?) Anyways, I can only think of 3 possible reasons. 1, you have swap on your phone and have forgotten to deactivate it before connecting the phone, this will make it hang and never complete the recognition process with the comp. 2, you don't have the drivers installed. 3, you have the drivers installed and are connecting with the phone in modem mode but are not activating acmattach.lin/acmattach.txt

I'm no expert and these are only guesses. Good luck I hope you succeed and enjoy c5abp (it's the only one I've ever known so I can't compare )

if u are using PST 7.2.1 or 7.2.3, it shall work.
i really cant say why it is creating problem. once attached and connected, after launching PST, turn on ur phone in boot loader mode. lets C if it works.

    try this in sequence
    1. launch PST
    2. turn off ur phone
    3. connect it to USB
    4. turn it back on

it shall prompt for drivers. and then work.

In some cases PST will not recognize the phone. B4 running PST make sure that you can see the phone id device manager as Motorola USB modem. If it appears as a modem and PST still cannot detect the device you need to uninstall it & reinstall the drivers manually.

    OH I KNOW!!!

    same thing happened to me...

    first install the PST program

when u switch to modem mode, and u plug into ur comp and it ask to install PSEUDO crap... look for the folder C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST
the driver should be in that folder.
