well, I just got my e360i on ebay and i'm not very knowledgeable on computer programming or anything like that.. (all i know is that i plug in the phone and it let's me use it as a mass storage device)... so..how do i find the directories to change all the programming in the phone (again sorry about the idiot's language)???...my phone came with the chinese instructions and no software, what should i do to get stated??

you have to be more specific. so what exactly do you want to do with your e680i? i suggest reading the faq and the wiki and reading through some of the threads in this forum. that will give you an idea what is possible with this phone and also instructions on how to install certain programs (such as linloader and neo installer that are necessary to install vba and xsnes9x etc)

yeah that's exactly what I want, to run linloader and neo installer, but when i read the turorials i always get stuck on the part that says "change this folder to this folder and such", do u know what i mean...where are those?

you need to enable viewing of hidden folders on your computer. open a folder and go to tools > folder options > view and check the show hidden files and folders
so when you plug in your phone to your computer you should see the .system folder
