    Default symbian to java

    Hi guys

First of off this is a very excellent forum for e680i. I wish Motorola could have participated in helping it.

But i guess there are many other briliant people that are posting replies.

Can any one please tell me if .sis files can be run on this mobile or is there a way to convert them into .jar.

sis files are programs written in C++....so unless you can fully decode the C++ code...it cannot be rewritten in Java

It's possible to reverse engineering those stuff but patch it to run on Linux is almost impossible for us.

not yet, there are no solid grounds for that. i hope that this "almost impossible" will be "easy to do" one day.

There are some people trying to bring some utilities on e680i and progressing towards something better. i am hoping for a better future.
