sm weeks ago i worked on a help manual for personal use regarding e680i.
then i stopped that work due to time limitations.
today i opened it again, and just thought, why not ask ppl(just specific points) that what things they'd like to have in a "Idiot's Guide for E680i".

sorry, sorry, sorry and sorry for all the delay.... but good thing is i m finally working on it really.

attached is a draft. it has no text in many sections, but still can give u an idea of what i m working on. i will definitely add a faqs section and a fully indexed help. that is already in my view.

but for existing sections, what i need from you people is...
1. what sections shall be addded more?
2. what changes are to be there in existing sections?
3. in terms of sections, what u feel is missing?
4. in sections, where some text is present, do u feel it is helpful? or do u feel i need to change my style or explain more etc...?

Note: this is the first draft. all text will be here in sections in coming days. but i need your feedback to have a clear picture to know what you want or what you do not want at all.

Wow. I just took a look at it. very nice and properly laid out. I think it'll come out very successful, but probably need a html version as well

ah yes, i know its not finished yet, but i think the words might need a little spreading out. I know how u feel though, after typing so much you can't be bothered with the look yet until its finished

thats not an issue admin. i can provide html,pdf,doc or whatever version is required, within a minute.

and yes, i feel it lot more difficult to document something than to code any thing

i just go thru ur help manual...its nice n complete. but how about uf u put a troubleshooting section or FAQ
-That way ppl know what to do if their flashing failed or
-if their phone dead
-the theme/skin problem ( phone hang when connect to)

ill give more suggestion later.. keep up the good works!!

info about scripts eg SH and LIN files.
the basics of linux like the /root and / in linux. i dont know about that stuff how to use commands in Qonsole and the commands u can get the commands list off some website i think. i really want toi know linux commands.
