Newbie! PLEASE help!

Help!

Sb gave the Motorola e680 (I think. How can I tell if it is e680, or e680i?) a while back, without any initial installation software/package thingy. What software do I need to get to enable me to connect this phone to my computer, and to install software, etc on this phone, as well as sync the info between the phone & the computer. Yes, I do have the USB cable.

Also, can I use my PalmOne software on this phone?

e680i come in two colors only black and white. i dunno know the difference in terms of appearance since i have not yet seen a e680. in connecting to pc, just set the phone to usb mode and plug it your pc *windows xp and above os) will automatically detect it. on installing softwares you need to basic programs linloader and mpkg installer or better yet flash it with a modified cg's. for guides on how to see the stickies.

e680 was released in 2 colors: black and white. U can see the type printed under the battery, or press WWW008W at Call menu (just like you want to call. To type W, insert wait)

with MPT we can backup phonebook, use our phone to be as a modem,etc.

Mine is pure E680i, upgraded to E680g and really comes in Black (I must bold that word )
I did flash dozen of E680 (only) and E680i (pure),
I did flash a lot of E680 to E680i
I did flash many of E680i to E680g
I did flash several of E680 to E680g
but I saw only a few E680i with white colour, I dont know why?
