    Default Say Goodbye to E680i

    Dear all,

I have sold my E680i last week. because it has a big problem, the "Battery", Even I buy a new battery for it, it can only stand for ten hours. My wife, my mother .... blame me and they said they can't find me always. What can I do? I can only buy another one. Anyway, I miss it very much..

I go back here because I found the solution to E680i battery problem and I want to share to all of you, from the experience of other smartphone, the following aspects will affect the battery life:

    1) background processes:
    2) SD Card
    3) Abnormal overclock process.
    4) Alarm Clock program.
    5) Dual sim card.

    Solution:
    1) Don't flashing your phone because there may have some processes which will consume your battery.
    2) Don't use sim card.
    3) Don't install scheduler program.
    4) check if there is some abnormal processes and kill them.

I'm so sorry to hear that. But is that severe is your battery problem? As the power circuit isn't dammaged, your phone will last quite long (mine for 4-5days with around 1000mAH batt on normal usage (10mins calls per day and few SMSs, no GPRS)-i dunno the exact since it doesn't imprint the capacity)

I use my own modded CG (which i made it minimalist), single SIM Card (putting dual one on E680i is quite hard since there's almost no space behind battery cover) and run only what-i-need processes. And top of that.. i use "ugly" GUI (no screensaver, extra clock, etc)

I think the important part is to use it properly, to charge the batt properly (don't exceed the limit) and keep it in clean, cool environment just like another electric appliances.
