how to edit ur own cg files?

when my touchscreen is not responding, i flashed my e680 to g just hoping to fix it (its now a progress, only top menu is out of reach)

here are my concern:
1. i need to calibrate my screen
problem :
i cant go to setup mode since the main menu button is unreachable

so then..
2. i need to edit my 5 shortcuts below for the setup mode then calibrate

There are 2 ways to edit em:
A. using belcarra,
problem: after flashing it to my newly E680g, the storage mode is set by default and i cannot change it to modem mode

B. using ezxlocal editor or editorE both are MPKG files.. i've managed to installed them thru my file manager.. but still dont know how to open it coz the main menu is out of reach

3. then i get 1 reply from the screen jam post about making my own cg

about putting the phone into modem (acm) mode..
i'm out idea tooo (since your screen doesn't work)
~or you may make your own cg36

so.. is it the only (best and yet cheap) way to fix my stress?
or anyone with a better solution i really apreciate it.

o dear! it's just knocked in, even if i find the wanted CG, now im unable to reflashed the phone, i'm still stuck with modem mode that i cant set

what you need:
access to explorer (file), a way to execute mtf

that should be possible and is an easy and fast way, but i dont know if the e680i support mtf. To extract on A780 you need to install for example a mtf_installer. Then tap long the mtf file and open with the installed mtf program. To create an mtf rebuild the folder structure put the ezx_idle.cfg in and compress it to *.tar.gz and rename to *.mtf.

Here is a Simple MTF software for A780 maybe it works with e680i or there is a similar software.

thx halftux.. now i can go to setup.. and calibrate
but still no accurate abit, it goes just a little bit higher above the exact point, i feel a little difficult when typing a message.

where can i find the saved calibrated touchscreen profile in diska ?

is it useful enough to copy the file from a friend's E680i screen calibrated profile (which in good condition) to my own screen profile?

i will try this procedure before i disassemble my phone and try to clean the screen from dust or dead bugs or something like that.. ;p
