Thread: Alien

  1. #1

    Default Alien

    Thanks to admin for my earlier email on Newbie. I made some attempts on some of the dowloads on the colour of the screen appearance such as 'Alien' but it resulted some of the multimedia features unable to play such as follows;

    1. Camera unable to take picture.
    2. Video failed.
    3. Sound recorder failed.
    4. Cannot change back to default colour.
    5. Real Player Library failed.
    6. others etc.

All the above problems/errors seems to prompt 'Memory Full' of 'Flash Memory Full'

How can I rectify this problem?

Your kind assistance needed. Thank you.

    Regards

Well, the alien theme you installed occupies memory in the ezxlocal of your phone momory. If you haveinstalled more that one theme or sometimes even a large theme, you are likely to run outof space in the ezxlocal. This will cause many features of your phone to display a "Memory Full" warning.

To rectify this, download the theme uninstaller, remove all themes and install themes that are small. If the themes are large install the ones that occupy Phone Memory. Beware of the themes with Warning, they may cause the same problem.

so I download the theme uninstaller to my pc, unzip it and copy the file to my phone and run the file in my phone, right?

Tried that but the file cannot be opened. I think that's because I have not downloaded the linloader program, right? Or is it just another file?

You need linloader installed. And the run theme_uninstaller.lin from your phone memory (not SD/MMC Card). Do not rename theme_uninstaller.lin.

i followed yantz's steps to install linloader and i think it was a sucess becuase i managed to open test.lin and get a 'sucess' message on test.txt on the phone memory. I also got the down arrow icon under tools. however, after installing the theme uninstall.lin into the phone memory, opening up using linloader does not come up with anything.

my multimedia applications seems to work fine now but i'm still unable to save any new notes or delete it.

changing wall paper still prompting me memory full under setup.

still feel something is not completely resolved.

this Alien thingy is a really bad experience for me.
