I have use the same batteries in my A780 and i have used several different batteries with the E680. So that I can't believe that it is a problem with the batteries.

Owh... I couldn't say much about their service centre here, that was my first time. But I was also told by their front-desk person, the Service centre are taken over by a new management. That could be the reason for a good services I've gotten? Hehehe ...
Yaahh... probably my batch was not that really good, the IC shouldn't damage that easy.. or maybe I'm just unlucky owner...![]()
Hi all,
to give a little feedback to this story: I bought a new sd-card (number five ) and inserted and removed it only when I had removed the battery cover before. But even this time the card was not usable neither with the phone nore with a card reader after about 15 min. It seems as if my phone has another problem then just this cover problem.

have you tried with another working mmc/sd?
or half-inserting the card?
the "old" classic issue is that the slot is pressed by the batt (there is metal plate which then press your sd card, so it doensn work normally). So i suggest to insulate the sd slot with tape or sth

No I have not tried another sd-card after this one. But that was allready the 5th card I ruined that way. They are unsusable after using them in the e680. If you put the card in an ordenary card reader you can not format that card even with panasonic's sdformatter tool.
I had also experience that problem, about 6 months ago. Sometimes my phone can read the SD Card, but sometimes it can't. Believe or not, I covered the lower side of the card by a piece of sticker and inserted it again, and... voila!! My phone recognize and read my card, always, until now. There's no problem again. Want to try? I think it's better trying than not.
Thank you for the information!
Could you explain in more detail which part of the card was covered with the sticker? And was that sticker of a special type? You mentioned that you had problems with the recognition of your card in the phone. But was it recogniced in a card reader without this sticker?
I covered the lower side of my SD (which facing down, there you can see the pins), all of the side. I used a piece of paper sticker, and cellophane tape can be used, too.
Without the sticker, my phone sometimes doesn't read the SD. Sometimes it suddenly got errors, unmounted from hp, so I need to format it again.
Greetings friends! I recently have bought to myself E680i and have faced the same problem, as at Kuddel. Whether can be as the reason of damage of files Software of the Baseband processor? Or the sat down battery on Motherboard? I Apologize for mistakes. I write in Russian, and I translate through PromtX... I wish to solve this problem. All greetings from Russia!![]()
