real player problems

this may have i already been answered and im just overlooking it but i have a question i just recently recvied my e680i and every time i try to download something to either real player, video, images, and programs it takes me to some chinese website to where i cant understand a thing if there is a way around this can anyone tell me.

I would be very thankfull if someone could help me out.

it sounds like the phone you got is chinese branded. I know you just got the phone, and there is a lot to read on this forum, but you might consider reflashing your phone with unbraded firmware. (search through the FAQ's, howtos, and posts for flashing, firmware, etc.)

Motorola has given it's firmware to certain mobile-operators like China Mobile in China, M1 in Singapore and some others. They have the right to modify the firmware to optimise it for their services and network.

When we talk about unbranded firmware, we are refering to the original generic Motorola firmware, which has not been modified my any operator. It is the firmware supplied by Motorola itself.

So far, the latest available unbranded firmware is the C5A4P firmware. Get it from the Download -> E680i -> Firmware section.

Check Yantz "Essentials Guide" for info on how to flash your firmware.
