MPT sync with Outlook 2003 - Calendar does not sync!

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie. just got e680i for free from a buddy of mine. I have MPT 3.28 (the latest version as of July 2005). I've been trying to sync my outlook files to my phone. The contacts and tasks all sync great. However, Calandar items does not sync. On MPT it says it's loaded in e680i, but I can't see it in e680i's calendar. Can someone please help?? Many thanks!

Anyone? I called Mobile Phone tools and they said it may be a phone problem...so I called Motorola USA and they said they don't support this because it's not sold in USA..
It seems like Mobile Phonetools is sending the calendar files to a different location in the phone than where the Phone actually keeps them. I input an appointment in the phone and Mobile Phonetools does not recognize it...Come on guys..help a newbie out.

That happened to me too. I, then, found that the old calendar will not go to my phone, so I recreated all of my calendar again (do it 1-by-1 first). Finally, all the calendar sync to the phone.. HTH

Thanks for your reply! Can you explain to me how you recreate all of your calendar ?? do you mean re-enter the information to the existing calendar or re-install outlook?

Since I don't have many things in calendar, I just re-entry the information...

If you have a lot of information, you can try backup them first. Then, delete all of them and import the backup to the outlook. Try it at your own risk (I did that 1 time with my contact, and it worked).
