    Default Problem with e680i touchscreen.

Ok. A long time ago, I accidently broke the lcd screen on my motorola e680i.

I purchased another replacement LCD screen with the touch screen digitizer also and i replaced both on the phone. After I replaced both, the phone booted normal and images showed up fine. But the thing is, the touch screen function isn't working anymore which pretty much turned my phone into a brick. I didn't know what to do with it so I just left it alone and bought another phone. Now, I miss using my e680i and I want to get it fixed. Any suggestions on why the touchscreen would'nt be working or any possible solutions on what I could do to repair it?
