No, you can't remove it, it's part of the firmware. You should be using generic "unlocked" firmwares, not branded ones.
Hi,
I have just flashed my E680i firmware to the C5 A9P version which I got from here (thanx to Intoxicated) -
This firmware has the China Mobile brand name on it and some features and customer service facilities related to China Mobile. I want to remove this brand name and the programs related to China Mobile cuz since I live in India I have not use for those services.Code:http://www.http://www.motorolafans.com/index.ph...ewtopic&t=1477
Does anyone know how to do this? If you do please give me a step-by-step method to change it as I have just brought this phone 1 week back and don't know much?
Thanx in advance,
Un49iven
P.S. - One thing I have noticed in this firmware is that all programs and games are full and have unlimited licenses.

You can. At least, I did it with my C3.A8P China Mobile branded firmware. I used Silvio's CG33 and Yantz's CG35.

Try to flash with Yantz's cg35 (full). I had made and it is good
i would rather reflash with c5a4p![]()
Yup. C5.A4P is good and unbranded.

Yes I had tested many version of the E680i with my E680.
Be it the C3.A8P or C5.A9P that was meant for China Mobile,
together with plenty modified CG33 and CG36 courtesy from our China friends.
Using them even though with some extra system features and capability than the C5.A4P,
but they are not as stable, fast and the phone standby time last shorter than the great C5.A4P![]()
Probably both of the China Mobile version firmwares was running extra features on the background which using more system memory that causing the problem.
So I would strongly suggest we stick with C5.A4P
(until newer C6.A4P firmware appear)
