Make sure your account is activated for SMS and MMS. For some reason mine got disabled for no reason they could tell me and they had to go in and fix it on their side.

Hahaha ... that would be quite funny if this sophisticated phone really could not receive MMS (multimedia message). Evilspawnsss, it's only a matter of putting the correct setting for your MMS service (APN, user name, password, etc.). Try and ask/call your provider to activate GPRS and MMS.

Hmmm ... you mean EMS? Not sure about that. It's a bit obsolete now, don't you think?

    ok..to clear up the confusion

i can't receive picture messages..and when i send out picture messages to fellow cingular subscribers they dont receive an image. i went on cingular.com and the website refers to picture messages as MMSC.

    Weih... can laa...

I bought mine in Singapore recently, brought it back to Kuala Lumpur and set up everything by looking at guides at my provider site (Celcom). GPRS works fine but no MMS!!!

That is until I put in the port number 9201 in the setting (the guide didn't mention this) and it works. Both sending, and receiving pictures - I tried it with the girlfriend who uses Nokia and different provider (Maxis).
