i always disabled the sim lock. but i guess flashing will not effect your pin code since it is stored in your sim card memory not in the phone memory

try calling 211 (GT Customer Service) it free of charge. they will send you your gprs and mms settings via sms

I mean the phone is only able to use the sim of one telco, the sim of other telcos is rejected. There's a sticker in the battery bay that says "this phone can be used only with a "one telco" sim" or something to that effect, so locked to either Globe or Smart or Sun.

I like it that I can use only one provider, it gives me a legitimate reason to be out of contact with people
