hey but wouldnt it be a problem cuz i have the e680i and i dont know the diff thanks for your help.
install mpkg is similar!
First, install Linloader
Second, install mpkg using Linloader
Search in FAQ and e680i forum for how to install Linloader!
If you call LinLoader and Neo Installer "crazy procedures", it is clearly that you will call "MPKG Installer" also a crazy procedure. Maybe later you will call this phone, A CRAZY PHONE.Originally Posted by kingpogo2000

I kind of agree with kingpogo2000; there is currently no truly simple bootstrap procedure. The only thing I can say is that people are working on it.
If you opt to go for mpkg; remember:
1) Mpkg also requires linloader or firmware flash
2) Manual installation of mpkg once you have linloader is rather tedious (10x as crazy as neo, but perhaps I'm biased).
3) There have been problems reported where mpkg have messed up people's InstalledDB. Check for example the clocker thread.

That was my point EXACTLY. IMHO, Neo Installer is waaay easier than MPKG. If he thinks Neo is a crazy procedure, MPKG then would be a supercrazy procedure.![]()
