E680i Simple Method of flashing for newbies (compulsory files method)

PST (flashing software)

Procedure


1.Recharge your phone completely or for 1-2 hours

2. Install PST

3.Extract the firmware in PST folder

4.Switch off your phone then hold the CAMERA + Vol. down button and switch on your phone (keep holding both keys until the phone on). Phone will be on displaying blue print, oh! sorry i mean blue screen with some text on it.

5. Connect your phone to you PC thru cable.

6. If it ask for drivers then locate it on PST folder.

7. Now Go to PST folder and run MultiFlashFlex.

8. On the first field select the firmware which you've put in PST folder, (the .shx file), make sure your phone is in connected devices tab on MultiFlashFlex.

9. Then click on Start.

10. It will take several minutes for flashing, just be patient and sit back and relax. When the flashing will be finished it will show Flashing complete /Successful with Green icon in the list.

Unplug it from USB cable.Put you battery out and then put it back in your phone and switch on the phone say thanks and ENJOY!

Phone detected as motorola flash interface after downloded PST program. PST intialiization failed! No security key detected! when running multiflash flex.exe and already put e680i.full shx file in PST folder
