Telnet on E680i not E680

Hi, This topic to some one E680 is easy. But try on telnet on E680I is not a easy job.
I try all kind of metters.

or at 'Preload' usenet.lin. Linloader.mtf , Loader_E680I_sd.mtf

Other "at+mode=99,11 & 12"
It just don't work.
I did try the the uselan and moto lan....
not thing show on the com it is connect...
May be it is because I buy the phone on July 20. and the function has take away....

Hi, My problem are windows never ask to attempt to install driver. I did try acmattach.txt and acmattach.lin. Is still the same.
But one thing I don,t understand is 'open my favourites and tap acmattach.lin"
I supose to switch phone to 'modem' , and I will not see any drive or contact on my phone.

have u installed linloader ? tapping acmattach.lin will do nothing if you havent installed it yet.

I did try also remove the Mobile Phone Tools from my xp sp1. That I think it may help. Now my phone had most of the files and *llin I think. Just can't let the com detect the new driver. Any way we can ping from the phone or the phone to com?
By the way I also try on win98 it did not work too.

I have both files linloader and Loader_E680I_sd.mtf
, both are install. The last time I try even clean the master and redo...

I had "AppName" on my phone. Is it the same if I put linloader or Loader_E680I_sd.mtf"? Any way to check the version?

yes "AppName" with down-arrow pic for the icon, if you got an exclamation icon it should be unsuccessful installation, try with test.lin to make sure

Since we are talking about telnet on E680i (original, I suppose, not the flashed one), I just want to ask something :

If an E680i hangs after inappropriate theme installation (overloaded system memory), can we do the same trick as E680 to set up USBLAN for it, i.e. just plug it to PC, start Hyper Terminal and type "AT+MODE=99"? I'm pretty curious because AFAIK, telnet/usblan on E680i can only be set up using the .lin script (and not using Hyper Terminal), right?

My e680i did not hang but it did not let me click on anything not even files, dial or anything.

I could not even change to Mass Storage mode or change the ringer style.

Luckily I was using the modified rootfs and USBLAN worked, don't ask me how it worked, but it did.

I went into ezxlocal and was removing all dhm / icon files I could see, then the phone started working fine.

Now the question would be if it was the default rootfs, I think it would have required a flash definitely.
