Perhaps it would be nice with general H.323? Maybe we can port gnomemeeting?

Aah for SIp to work shouldnt all ports be open? I only have port 9201 (WAP) open on my data network. Can you route this trough that?
Skype is based on a variant of iLBC codec and considering the cpu that it uses in my PC(~20% at 2500+ Athlon xp, iLBC itself requires about 9% at same rate...) it will not run on E680(or other pxa27x based device at 312mhz) without specific optimizations(like utilization of wmmx and armv5 dsp instructions). The guys at skype will have a big work ahead to port it...

Perhaps it is possible to reduce sound quality for speed?

Doesnt Skype have a PocketPC version out? Whats the speed on those devices?
Pocket PCs are from 150Mhz to over 600Mhz, soon up to 1.2Ghz.
