with cyph's recent contribution of the working bluez stuff and a way to make hciattach work, it shouldn't be hard to make a java app that helps make a BT chat connection via the SPP and then either re-compile KBTserialchat to work w/ cyph's modified qt-libs or make the chat app in java as well.
