Setup>Screen calibration
I got this annoying problem 2 days ago, as usual i clean my e680 screen (with screen protector on it) with my shirt.
After cleaning i got the touchscreen is giving improper respond on the upperside. When i tap the icon logo (home, phonebook, msg, and dialpad) it goes to status bar, when i tap the status bar it goes to the wallpaper.![]()

It seems like the touchscreen missed the input beneath the exact point that it should go.
I check the problem again with drawing, on the lowerside, the touchscreen giving an exact position as i tap and draw line with the stylus. the more i goes on the upperside of the phone screen, it gives worse position (below the stylus)![]()
What should i do with this problem?![]()
Motorola customer service will be my last bet, since customer service in here is VERY bad.![]()
Setup>Screen calibration
Yes, but does it run Linux?
I've tried that one too maxx, doesn't do any help.
the screen calibration keep repeating for 3 or 4 times and then the screen (upperside) still got the same problem.
Reflash? I dont know, as soon as i have a problem with my phone i just reflash it usually.
Yes, but does it run Linux?
maybe a restart(turn off, turn on) the phone first before flashing...
Motorola e680 (flashed to e680i) + 4Gb SD card + HT820 Stereo BT Hedphones,
Ubuntu 6.10 + 7.04,
Nokia N95 + 8Gb microSD
@maxx
reflash? well i guess i'll try that one, btw what kinds of problem max ?
make sure the battery is full, turn off and unplug the battery for 24 hours. then turn it on and do the screen calibration. it happen because you gave two instructions on the screen in the same time.
heee ? two instruction on the screen in the same time. I guess i'll try this one too.
thx everybody, you guys just great![]()
sh*t, it still doesn't work even after i did the kogan's way
however it works with my friend's e680i.
Maybe it's time to give a visit to the customer service
try reflashing first
