hmm, if the wallpaper is coming up then it sounds like the phone is booting but running out of memory to run all the phone applications. you might try telneting to the phone and removing the theme. search the forum on how to remove theme components, i think others have had similar memory-related problems when installing themes.

just reflash it? I dont think you can telnet in, as you need to run a script for that which is not possible.
Yes, but does it run Linux?

ahh yes, i forgot about that (i guess i am assuming that the acmattach.txt stuff is in everyone's phone, but then again i am assuming that everyone has reflashed w/ the modified cg files..... )

i hav searched and believe u me this flashing procedure is difficult. just tell me if it can be done at the service centre. i hope it is not a major issue and can be resolved. isnt there any trick to do it without flashing? i had this problem in 910i and it was resolved by the jog dial trick. plzzzz tell me if there is such trick 4 680i.

There sint a way to do it without flashing. You can bring it to a service center, but why do that when its easier to do it yourself?

have you tried a master reset/clear?

if you feel like flashing is too difficult you might want to trade in your phone for something else when you go to the service center. flashing is easy, lots of us have done it w/o problems. it takes some time to get all the software needed, but its not rocket science. if flashing is too hard for you than maybe the e680 is not your best choice of phones.

i shared already over 35 gig of this flashfile,

this is nearly 200 installs, if the half of the guys it really install, than there 100 left, if i think that i am not the only sharer, perhaps 5 always sharing with me than this are minimum 500 updates from e680 to e680i

wow i am still able to calc with rules of three

you will take this easy step too
