how to remove operator logo and date on the home screen?

i would liek to remove the operator logo and the date below it . these are on the home screen.

and also how to make the wall paper a screen saver?

my fren with 680 made his wall paper pop as a screen saver after a short while of idle.

that's prob the one ur friend is using..
