cookies and javascript?

Hi,
i just bought the new e680i..... its a really cool phone but when i try to check hotmail it says " your phone does not have javascript to run pls install" and when i check gmail it says "pls enable cookies on your browser"
how do i go about doin this? the sales guy whom i bought this phone looked kinda lost when i asked him bout this.... can someone help pls......

maybe using yahoo mail or another mail service that works with the e680(i)...

why allways just hotmail or gmail then nothing others?

there should be a way to check gmail and hotmail rite? does anyone know how to set my browser cookie on? and how to install javascript on this hp? this is ridiculous that i spent money on this and i cant even check my other mails....... am very dissapointed
