Default how to port linux apps to E680i

the processor of E680i is a RISC based intel chip. many people have ported linux apps to RISC based computers.

i know that there are tons of java apps available. but there are two problems:

    i) most of the java apps are games, and i am looking at utilities and other useful apps

ii) java apps run slowly than natively compiled linux binaries.

also note that compared to java apps, there are several mega tons of unix/linux programs with source code out there.

i wonder if there is any guide/how to/FAQ to help me port (basically recompile) linux apps. while my programming skills are a little better than that of a novice, i believe that with some guidance i can do a fairly good job.

    tia.

Look in the development forum and on marcus.bluetroll.se/e680. Also look on www.pashkovsky.com/e680
Yes, but does it run Linux?
