Anyone teach me how to telnet e680g in linux ?

I've been using Fedora for quite a time ,obviously we feel comfortable when telnet e680g in windows, because of the mass mount of articles on internet.
But here come the problem that article about telneting e680g in linux nearly never appears..........I can hardly find one
When asking the administrators on ccmove ,they also feel confused about this ,so I come to our world wide discuss forum motorolafans for help
Can any kind-hearted person help me ?
