    Default How to check existing ROM version?

    Hey there, just got my nice new E680i - cool !!

    How do I check to see what firmware version is in it? And what would be the benefits of upgrading to a later firmware?

    Also - does the later firmware enable gmail SSL email access via the built in app? Browsing to the gmail.com site to check email will probably cost a lot more in GPRS charges

    WWW008W will pop up the firmware version for you.
