yes, there is a way .. just search ringtone that don't have a sound .. may be u can find it on e680_lovers at yahoogroups ..ok
I realize that E680i cannot have the alert mode 'RingTones and Vibration' on the same time.
It only provides, 'Vibrate, Then Ring Loud' and 'Vibrate, Then Ring Soft'.
Is there a way to make the phone ring and vibrate at the same time?
This is not a special function, most of the normal phone able to do that, I hope E680I can do that as well.

I think it's a motorola style of life, I never seen a moto phone with this option.
But with e680i you have a choice. You can mix a special frequency in your ringtone, If I remember correctly it's 150Hz. There are some wave files inside the phone with the sounds like vibrate normal, dot, dash etc. These files are in wave format, when compressing to mp3(for example) they get distorced a little, but I think it will work(personally I don't care about vibrate and ring in parallel and never tried this).
Another option, a dificult/dangerous one, is to mod your phone software/firmware and activate the "HAPTICS" when a incomming call is received, this thing makes the e680i act like an earthquake while playing music.
in the download section, there is a download called "Vibration Pulse". download that file, and, using a sound editor, you can merge it with the ringtone of your choice, then your phone will vibe and ring at the same time.
is there a program to merge it?
eg. Music Editing Master in http://www.dandans.com
oh thx
how can i use thats program, cause at music editing.i can use thats and thats sound keep not have vibration.how can make it .please help me..
where the 150 hz want to be editing?
i cant know this..
i have not tried myself yet, as i got my e680i last week and i am busy with a hell of other modding stuff, BUT
i've read that perhaps this phone supports SMAF(MMF) format. and if it does, then MMF tones can have vibe+sound at the same time at a VERY GOOD QUALITY.
i'll try it tonight(its morning here), and if it works, i'll be happy to share a hell of tones and really good tools that i have collected for MMF tones.
i just hope that it works, i'll b back here tomorrow.
EDIT: i wont be back before monday, as i dont have internet at home. i have tested the MMF tones that i have at my office, they are supported but unpleasant thing is, Motorola does not support the GREATEST feature of MMF tones(i'll verify results on monday). for tones i have in office, phone does not vibrate... however i am not very sure if these MMF has the vibrations. i have to test at home.
Well, I used Adobe Audition 1.5 Tryout (download from Adobe website)
zhengdong.mp3 offered by someone (search in google.com)
I placed my music clip in track 1, and zhengdong.mp3 in track2. Then
export as a a new mp3 file. And... Voila! Ringtone with vibration!
