setting video size on e680i

\\169.254.142.2\system\ezxlocal\download\appwrite\setup

open ezx_camera.cfg with a text editor

change
BestvideoSize = Medium
to
BestvideoSize = Large

Save it and use the videocam on the e680.
Use the zoom 1.9 or higer, under that it will not work.

this doesnt seem to work with the C5 firmware?

My ezx_camera.cfg file looks like this

can my video quality be changed... ????

doesnt look like it, the newer firmware took the option out of the file we need to edit. im not sure anyone has figured out how to do it yet.

i do not have an e680i, but the e680i settings for higher video res maybe could be like this:

just change from

size = 1
to
size = 2 (or 3)

i think the (pic-)size 1 = 176x136, 2 = 352x288 and 3 = 480x640 for photo and video as well.

save it anbd test it out, maybe after 1.9 or 2.3 zooming should it work.

also test the quality out

from

quality = 2
to
quality = 3 (or 4,5,6..)

please post some video examples on here that has the higer res -so i can compare with my e680- and other phones that can record higher res videos too.

I tried changing the video size to 2, but this only made the camera app die soon after it was started... I will try 3 soon and see what happens... but seeing as 2 doesn't work I would assume the same result.

i hope you chaged the "size" from the [video] secton below and not on the [photo] secton....

Is it possible to change or remove the installed sound on the phone? It is horrible. Especially the monkey sound. Who would want to use that !? It would be a bonus if there is an option to switch it to silent. And is there any way to change the resolution for video recording? I tried to change the size to 2 (I think) and it doesnt work.
