LinLoader and MPKG a must have?

Hi Guys,

I'm still new to Linux, have been reading a lot about linloader and mpkg, is it really necessary to have them in your phone? What can they do besides installing Theme changer, Game emulators, and some other softwares.
I went to the download page and look at the softwares that requires this loaders, none are really necessary to me.
Will they enhance the phone performance? Will they screw up my phone if not done correctly? Will they void the waranty?


Anyway from the e680i download page I saw the below. I don't find any flash how-to on how to use the file. hmmm.. did i misunderstood the sentence?
