Default Saving SMS into PC *SniFF*

Any way of saving the SMS from your E680i into your computer?

MPT is just nonsense. Doesn't work anymore. =(...sigh..

I've scoured the forums and have found no answers regarding this topic.=/

i've currently over 2000 SMS's and am now facing problems with DBmemory issues(due to the abundance of SMS & i wanna save them, not delete them).

So, is there a way to transfer them all for archiving on the PC? or maybe relocating the incoming SMS/MMS folder onto the SD Card ?

Any sort of help is appreciated. THANKS!

    search for myphonedump.
Intoxicated brought this app from ccmove. its in Dev forum.
it converts your sms into a text file which is tab delimited.
u can then simply copy/paste contents to excel.

however, thr is no way to put an sms back to phone.

Hello Swifty, thank you for the address, I was searching for this and did not find it, maybe I just don't know yet how to use the search area. One more question, would you happen to know if there are instructions on how to install this app? Do I install this on my phone or on my PC? Would you happen to know the link to the forum where it talk about this topic?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Regards,

    Felipe Bonventi

    sorry!
without instuctions it is very hard to use
there is no need for installation.
just unzipp it in a folder on your computer.
copy your native.db into this folder.
    execute myphonedump.exe
then you have 2 new files:
    contact.txt and sms.txt

    the original thread is there:
