Yes it is safe, as long as you dont go delete random files. There isnt such a thing as telnet commands, telnet is just a connection the phone which rubs linux and therefore uses unix (bash) commands.
After connecting the phone through 'modem' mode and later clicking on the 'acmattach.lin, Tel-net is enable.
In the window explorer, i can map network to the phone using '\\169.254.142.2\system'.
Is this safe?
I know DOS command but i don't know telnet command, and find it hard to do editting and deleting using telnet.
Any advise?
Sorry guys, i ask so many questions.![]()

I change the smb.conf, but I can't save it, b'coz the /root is full.
After that, the smb.conf have been changed to empty.
Now, I can't connect to my phone using samba.
How can I rebuild the smb.conf file again.
try restart phone
My friend cannot install the belcarra driver properly. It keeps saying "Cannot start". But when he connected his phone on my PC (with belcarra driver already installed), I can map his samba drive easily. What do you think is the problem here?

the problem is in his PC's driver.
1. maybe he hasn't installed the moto E680i driver for PC yet.
2. should edit the inf file in belcarra folder.
Go to his home or call him to bring his PC to your office, and then try install the belcarra driver using your way.![]()
First off, to telnet into the phone is great. But the Bash used is crappy. Try installing bash2 and use that instead. This got a auto-complete function.
Next, there is an editor call vim which will make editing much easier.
