has anyone succesfully exported the e690i sms inbox and contact lists using MPT?

U meant e680i, didn't u?
I always synchronize my e680i phonebook with the Outlook Express Address Book via MPT. It can also load all the message in Inbox (in MPT go to menu Receive - Retrieve SMS).

oops. yea i meant e680i.

i've solved the contact backup problem
after i updated the MPT via internet
now i'm using mobile phone tool ver 3.28
note : mobile, not motorola.

but the sms backup is still failing.
i already used the MPT menu Receive - Retrieve SMS, it showed processing cursor for few minutes and then nothing happened.
when i checked the inbox in PC, nothing copied.
hmm..

what usb mode should we use when connecting to MPT?
is there any differences when connecting via BT or usb?

and one more thing, i'm still unable to download from the link above,
i think the rar link is missing,
and the torrent link was showing invalid passkey, i'm using uTorrent.

click on sms retrieve menu.
To check firmware, on dial menu: type www008w, which w=insert (click on left bottom corner, on dila menu.
