Default USB Mass storage in linux

I am using a linux box with kernel 2.6.x

When I plug the phone in mass-storage mode, the kernel detects a new drive (normally sda), and I can mount it successfully. The problem is that I can't see the other drive (the SD-card). I had tried for a while and I couldn't find any way to make the kernel realize that the phone has to drives...Could some linux expert help me with this? Did someone get the two drives working in linux?

    thanks!

    you have to enable
    Code:
Device Drivers --> SCSI device support --> [x] Probe all LUNs on each SCSI device
    in kernel
