Yes it can play mp4, but thats way to high quality settings. Use max 15fps, and max 350 kbps for video and sound bitrate combined. Look in the faqs for more info

Can E680 playback Mpeg4 video clip?I tried convert a MTV to 600kbps,30fps,audio=96kbps(follow the setting from "whensite" forum),should be better then *RM,rite?(at least from paper,looks smart

I'm using "Mpeg4DirectMaker" to convert VCD to mp4.I actually saw the setting for mp4 quite impress,better then *rm......if i use those setting as u mentioned,it's just like in EasyRealProducer for *rm format....then no point oledi.....I want to try what's the BEST can E680 can playback video clip.... :P,any idea,please?

Afaik the settings i posted above are the maximum for the built-in realplayer, but i've heard people say the with the m-player you can watch movies up to 30fps. Not sure about this thoufh, all i know that i've done was playing 1 normal mpeg movie, unresized or anything and that played perfectly with mplayer, but no idea how many fps/quality that was.
