    Yes, you can just make a file called startup.txt and put your lin script in there (if you flashed with cg33 that is), or you can make an entry in the installeddb to a script led script. Im also pretty sure that linux uses a startup script somewhere in /etc i think, but i have no idea how its called or if its read-only.
    Yes, but does it run Linux?

    For general init is the first process in a linux environment. In etc there are some initxxx sh scripts. Also important is /etc/init.d with scripts like bootmisc.sh

    I understand this! So anybody must analyze the init scripts if there is one call to another script which is writable from bash via telnet or whatever. Only chance to change the boot process with editing a file writeable without flashing I believe.

    may we should begin with the icons first...

    so when i push an icon that led will liting or blinking..
    i tried several times with the InsatlledDB and my led.lin scripts, but it didnt lit the led..

    my led are in /diska/qtapp/
    example from the installedDB file:

    [AppLinkRecord1017]
    AllPosition = 83
    BigIcon = Files/suiteicon.png
    Directory = /diska/.system/java/DownloadApps/MIDlet00146
    Exec = /diska/qtapp/led.lin
    Group = 1
    Icon = Files/suiteicon.png
    InstalledDate = 2005/6/7
    JavaId = 146
    Mime =
    MpkgFile =
    Name = Jimm
    OsVersion =
    Position = 9
    Rotation =
    Shared = 0
    Size = 189K
    Type = 3
    uid = 1017

    I think the directory needs to be /diska/qtapp and exec needs to be led.lin

    Thats possible, leopardus did the same thing with its leopopup script, he started a script by an entry in installeddb, and then the script started the leopopup java prog. So that is possible, i dont have any idea how he did it though, look in his script how he did it. I know 1 thing, you're gonna need the suiteid.

    here the LeoPopUp entire from the installedDB
    looks the same like the other ones with using just one Directory.

    [AppLinkRecord1023]
    AllPosition = 88
    BigIcon = Files/MIDlet-1.png
    Directory = /diska/.system/java/DownloadApps/MIDlet00152
    Exec =
    Group = 1
    Icon = Files/MIDlet-1.png
    InstalledDate = 2005/6/12
    JavaId = 152
    Mime =
    MpkgFile =
    Name = LeoPopUp
    OsVersion =
    Position = 10
    Rotation =
    Shared = 0
    Size = 7K
    Type = 5
    uid = 1023
